Most design failures aren't visual — they're a failure to listen. Before I wireframe anything, I try to understand what someone is actually trying to do, what's getting in the way, and what "done" looks like for them — not for the brief. This shows up in how I ask research questions, how I push back on assumptions in product reviews, and how I measure success: not by how polished the UI looks, but by whether it made someone's task easier, faster, or less stressful.
